Palestinian statehood at center of UN talks
As the war in Gaza continues, the United Nations is considering adopting a resolution to grant Palestinians full membership, effectively recognizing their statehood. Palestinians currently have non-member observer state status. For the latest developments, VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to VOA United Nations correspondent Margaret Besheer.
