A new World Bank report says living conditions are worsening for half of the world’s poorest countries with poverty levels growing in what it calls “a historical reversal of development.” It said most of these countries are in Sub-Saharan Africa, East Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean with per capita incomes of less than $1,315 a year.
