Ketanji Brown Jackson was sworn in Thursday as the first Black woman on the United States Supreme Court. Jackson, 51, replaces Justice Stephen Breyer who retired. President Joe Biden nominated Jackson in February after promising to recommend a Black woman justice during his campaign.
