US President Biden to Meet with Chinese Counterpart at APEC Summit
U.S. President Joe Biden is aiming to show Asian Pacific leaders that he remains focused on the region, even as the White House grapples with the wars in Ukraine, the Middle East and a looming government shutdown in Washington. Biden's meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday is the main event of his four-day West coast visit for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit.
