UN Warns of Imminent Influx of Sudanese Refugees
The United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR) on Tuesday warned of further displacement of people from Sudan after thousands streamed into neighboring Chad and South Sudan. According to the UN refugee agency, Sudan hosted more than 1 million refugees and 3.7 million were internally displaced. "The humanitarian impact of this crisis will be harsh, Olga Sarrado, UNHCR spokeswoman said.
