Serious Crimes Committed Against Migrants in Libya: UN Investigative Body

Independent Fact-Finding Mission on Libya (FFM) reported Monday that there is sufficient evidence to believe that Libyans and migrants in the North African nation have been subjected to crimes against humanity, which includes forcing women into sexual slavery. The investigative team also uncovered that the European Union provided technical, logistical and financial assistance to three Libyan entities responsible for controlling migration and detention centers where refugees were kept in deplorable conditions.
