Senator Ben Cardin, D-MD talks about the plight of the Sudanese

The U.N. has called Sudan the worst displacement crisis in the world. It is where more than 12 million people have been displaced and more than 15-thousand others have been killed since in a civil war broke out in April of last year. VOA’s Carol Van Dam recently spoke with Senator Ben Cardin, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, about the plight of Sudanese and what the U.S. is doing to try to end the war.
