Ghana Reparation Conference Participants Reflect, Call on Compensation, Amends
A conference focusing on reparations for injustices committed during colonial times and the trans-Atlantic slave trade was held from November 14 to 17 in Accra, Ghana’s capital. The event, organized by the African Union and Ghana’s government was attended by over a hundred participants who came from different African countries and members of the diaspora. Isaac Kaledzi spoke to participants as some shared their perspectives with VOA.
