Former US President Donald Trump to Respond in Court to Felony Charges
Former U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to appear in a federal court in Miami, Florida on Tuesday, to answer 37 felony charges related to the mishandling of classified documents after he left the White House, including top secret files on U.S. nuclear and defense policy. The charging document said that on at least two occasions Trump showed classified documents about U.S. military operations to people who did not have a security clearance. For a reaction, VOA’s Peter Clottey reached attorney Leonard Anyogo in the Nigerian capital, Abuja.
