Democratic Republic of Congo army officials say they foiled an attempted coup Sunday night. Carbone Beni, a human rights activist in Kinshasa, tells VOA’s Carol Van Dam the attempted coup was allegedly led by Christian Malanga, a naturalized American from the DRC.
