Disease Outbreaks Plagued Africa in 2022
The African continent has been confronted with several outbreak this year including cholera, measles, Ebola and monkeypox, or mpox. Experts say the COVID-19 pandemic has revealed significant gaps in public health emergency preparedness and the resilience of health systems across Africa.
