Africa Caribbean Cultural Celebration in Washington
A cultural event dubbed "My Family Reunion," aims to united people of African descent in the Washington region and beyond, to connect, celebrate and exchange ideas. The event, organized by the Coore Foundation, will showcase the diversity of the African culture that includes music, art, fashion, and food. Ann-Marie Coore, founder of the event, joined VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart in studio to talk about the upcoming event.
