It appears that the standoff in Ghana’s parliament between the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is far from being resolved. The parliament adjourned indefinitely on Tuesday following a legal dispute over the speaker's decision to declare four parliamentary seats vacant. This came about after four members switched their party affiliations, thereby giving a slim majority to the opposition.
