An ultimatum calling on Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to order a reversal of a recent fuel increase expires Tuesday. Issued by the civil society group called Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP), the warning calls on the president to instruct the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited - the state regulator – to immediately reverse the recent price increase. This, after the regulator announced a rise in fuel price from 37 cents to 54 cents per liter.
