Our Voices 634: The realities of women in Artificial Intelligence
Gender activists have expressed concern that the digital divide between men and women will be worsened by the technological advancements that have come with the evolution of Artificial Intelligence, also known as AI. On this week’s Our Voices, we discuss whether AI powered services lack diverse gender perspectives and how to ensure an equitable digital future for all. Guests include Ommo Clark, an AI Doctoral Researcher, KnACC Lab, Information Systems Department, University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). We are also joined by Chinasa T. Okolo, a fellow at the Brookings Institution.
