Nigerian-American Family on Mission to Publish African Children Stories
Nigerian American engineer and storyteller Oluyemi Falomo and his daughter Mo Falomo, founded Falhouse Publishing, an independent children's publishing company, with the goal of increasing the representation of different authors and characters in children's books. The original plan was to release Oluyemi Falomo's first children's book, "The Princess and the gourd," which was based on a tale he had told his son more than thirty years prior. However, they realized they needed to provide a platform for more diverse books and authors.
