Patrick O. “Okwy” Osadebe is the eldest child of the late Nigerian Highlife icon, Chief Osadebe. Based in the state of Connecticut, Okwy carries on the tradition and preserves his father's legacy with his band, Highlife Soundmakers International. VOA's Heather Maxwell joined him and his bandmates, Fidelis Mazua and Ray Clark, for a live studio performance from VOA's studio in New York City.
