King of the Belgians Philippe and his wife Queen Mathilde arrived Thursday in Pretoria, South Africa where they were greeted by a guard of honor at the Union Building before meeting President Cyril Ramaphosa. This is the first visit to the southern African nation by the Belgian monarchy. "South Africa and Belgium have a longstanding bilateral tie. It is our responsibility to build on this foundation and to create more opportunities for our two countries to work together," Ramaphosa said in a tweet.   .
