The U.S. funded grantmaking National Endowment for Democracy (NED) reports aiding Ukraine amid the ongoing war with neighboring Russia that started on Feb 24. 2022. In an interview with host of VOA’s Press Conference USA Carol Castiel, Damon Wilson, the CEO and President of NED said Moscow is using African resources to fund its war and added that authoritarian governments such as President Vladimir Putin’s regime are working tirelessly to challenge democracy worldwide.
