Ghanaian Grammy Nominee Speaks on Academy Awards
Three-time Ghanaian Grammy Nominee Rocky Dawuni says being nominated for the U.S. awards that are focused on spotlighting outstanding contributions to the global music industry, has elevated his career. Dawuni, who received his third nomination for the 65th edition of the Grammys, further commended the U.S.’s Recording Academy for acknowledging the quality work that is being produced by African artists. VOA’s Peter Clottey caught up with Dawuni, ahead of the Grammy Awards that were held on Sunday.
