Rwanda Takes 'Defensive Measures' Against DRC Jet
Rwanda on Tuesday took “defensive measures” and shot at a fighter jet from the Democratic Republic of Congo, which the Rwandan government says violated its airspace. Video provided by VOA Swahili shows the jet was struck. Kigali has previously accused DRC of violating its airspace — in December and two months prior — but took no action. DRC authorities have made no comment.
