Washington Invests in Africa in Effort to Counter Chinese Influence

U.S. officials say America has struck over 500 trade and investment deals worth $14.2 billion dollars with African nations over the past year as Washington tries to be a counter China's growing influence on the continent. VOA’s Carol Van Dam has more from Washington.
