Statistics show that over 2.4 million African immigrants are currently living in the U.S. as part of growing African diaspora. This diverse community is becoming an increasingly critical constituency in American elections, asserting both their economic and political power. Chukwunonso “Vincent” Iweanoge is Chair of Maryland Governor's Commission on African Affairs as well as chair for the African Diaspora Advisory Board for Prince George’s County.
