Zimbabwe’s main presidential candidates, incumbent president and leader of the ruling ZANU PF party, Emmerson Mnangagwa, and his rival, Nelson Chamisa of the Citizens Coalition for Change, Wednesday spoke on the southern African nation’s general elections after casting their ballots. Speaking to media after voting in Kwekwe, in central Zimbabwe, Mnangagwa promoted peace during the elections, adding he was confident of maintaining the presidency.
