Rwanda is hosting the Kigali Summit on Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). Despite significant gains, malaria and NTDs continue to pose risks of death and disability globally. Africa 54 health correspondent Linord Moudou spoke with Thoko Elphick-Pooley, director of Uniting to Combat NTDs, a collective working to defeat neglected tropical diseases.
