WHO urges increased investment in health sector
The World Health Organization (WHO) is calling on governments and stakeholders to invest in the health sector. Speaking during the opening ceremony of the World Health Summit 2024 in Berlin, WHO Director General Tedros Ghebreyesus said investment is a critical step in strengthening the ability of health systems to tackle challenges like pandemics, climate change, and access to care.
