Voting issues in Namibia’s recent election causes some to question its legitimacy
Namibia’s political parties claim numerous voting difficulties are why the country’s election process cannot be deemed as free, fair, and credible. In a statement to the media, the Electoral Commission of Namibia admitted shortcomings but said they did not have a substantial bearing on results. The electoral commission, on Tuesday night, declared Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and the ruling SWAPO Party as winners of the election. Vitalio Angula reports for VOA from Windhoek Namibia.
