2022 was an emotional year for women worldwide: From the abortion debates sparked by the overturning of Roe vs Wade in the United States to more recently the Taliban suspending higher education for all female students in Afghanistan. But we also had splendid images from Qatar of Moroccan mothers dancing and celebrating their sons’ victory as the Moroccan team advanced to the quarter finals at the World Cup. What a year! This week, Our Voices will be reviewing some of the biggest events that we covered last year.
