Sudan Army: US, Other Nations to 'Evacuate Sudan Staff'
The Sudanese army said the United States, Britain, France and China on Saturday will evacuate their diplomats and other nationals from Khartoum, after both of the opposing military factions, the army and the paramilitary, Rapid Support Forces, said they will assist in the evacuations of foreigners. Meanwhile, sporadic gunfire and air strikes echoed across the city and a three-day ceasefire for the Eid holiday is in tatters. Matthew Larotonda reports.
