United Nations condemns recent hospital attack
Members of the Untied Nations Security Council expressed deep concern over escalating violence in and around El Fasher, North Darfur. Fighting has intensified in the region, as Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have reportedly attacked the Saudi Teaching Maternal Hospital in El Fasher on 24 January, which killed over 70 patients receiving critical care and their relatives, and wounded dozens. VOA’s Linord Moudou spoke to VOA United Nations Correspondent Margaret Besheer for a live update on the attacks.
