UN Special Envoy to Libya Urges Decision on Electoral Laws

United Nations Special Envoy to Libya Abdoulaye Bathily this week urged Libyan leaders to reach decisions on electoral laws that are acceptable to everyone, warning that the country has reached a decisive stage on the path towards elections. However, William Lawrence, professor of political science at the Washington-based American University, tells VOA's Mohamed Elshinnawi that there are major challenges to election holding in Libya.
