UN Chief Urges End to Deadly Fighting in Sudan
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Monday urged rival military factions in Sudan to “immediately cease hostilities, restore calm and begin a dialogue,” as deadly fighting continued into a third day. At least 97 civilians have been killed, according to the Central Committee of Sudanese Doctors.
