US Questions Russia's Interest in Africa Following Summit
Russia hosted a summit of several African countries last week, amid tensions fueled by increase in food prices following Moscow's withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative deal signed with Ukraine and Turkey. The summit has raised questions about Russia's motive and interest in Africa's welfare. The United States has accused Russia of using food as a weapon to gain Africa's support.
