Tunisia's Crackdown on Undocumented Black African Migrants Continues
In late February, Tunisian President Kais Saied ordered a crackdown on undocumented sub-Saharan African migrants, a move that drew international criticism with the African Union calling the move "radicalized." VOA's Esther Githui-Ewart spoke with Mongi Dhaouadi, president of Tunisian United Network, for more on the status of migrants still in Tunisia and the economic implications of the World Bank’s move to condemn the Tunisian president's statements on Black Africans.
