The conflict between the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has created a humanitarian calamity across some parts of Sudan. Early this year, the United Nations said in a report that during the first eight months of the fighting, between 10,000 and 15,000 people were killed just in El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur state. Joshua Cruze, a Sudan researcher, told VOA’s John Tanza that the international community has done very little for the people of Sudan.
