Sudan Analyst: Ceasefire unlikely in early 2025
Sudan's RSF retakes control of a key, logistical base in North Darfur on Sunday, a day after militias allied with the Sudanese army seized control of the base. Sudan analyst Cameron Hudson with the Center for Strategic and International Studies Africa Program tells VOA's Carol Van Dam that US Secretary Antony Blinken, who led two meetings at the UN Security Council late last week, focused on the African nation for good reason.
