Trauma Widespread in South Sudan: Expert [5:56]
The Center for Mind-Body Medicine is exploring ways to expand its program to South Sudan. The U.S.-based non-profit, which is headed by psychiatrist and clinical professor at Georgetown Medical School, Dr. James S. Gordon, holds trauma workshops in several hotspots around the world. One of the trainers for the group in South Sudan, Anyieth D’Awol, tells VOA’s John Tanza trauma is pervasive in the young east African country.
