SSudan Government Scraps NSS Arresting Powers [3:11]
The South Sudan government says it will do away with provision of a 2014 law that gave special powers to national security service personnel, a law human rights activists said allowed agents to harass and abuse citizens. Under the law, security officers could arrest people without a warrant and confiscate property. Activists welcome the move as Waakhe Simon Wudu reports from Juba.
