South Africa’s President Ramaphosa announces unity cabinet
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has finally announced his cabinet following month-long negotiations with partners in the government of national unity. South Africa’s election on May 29 resulted in no outright winner forcing the ruling African National Congress to negotiate a coalition government. The majority of political parties have welcomed Ramaphosa’s cabinet with analyst’s describing it as diverse and inclusive. Thuso Khumalo reports from Johannesburg.
