South Africa Court Set to Hear Zimbabwean Migrant Case
Thousands of Zimbabweans living in South Africa under the Zimbabwe Exemption Permit (ZEP) program are facing possible deportation due to the South African Home Office's decision to end the program on June 30th. A case is being argued before a South African court to keep the program - with up to 180,000 migrants at risk of being sent back to Zimbabwe. For an analysis into the decision to end the program and its impact on the thousands possibly facing deportation, VOA's Esther Githui-Ewart is joined in studio by VOA Zimbabwe reporter Blessing Zulu.
