Senegalese Court Sentences Opposition Leader to Two Years

A court in Senegal on Thursday acquitted leading opposition figure and presidential aspirant Ousmane Sonko of rape charges and death threats, but sentenced him to two years in jail for "corrupting the youth," triggering violent protests in the capital Dakar.
