Ruto Declared Winner of Kenya’s Presidential Election
Kenya’s electoral commission has declared Deputy President William Ruto the winner of the 2022 presidential election. Ruto received over 7.18 million votes (50.49 percent) compared to Raila Odinga's 6.94 million votes (48.85 percent), according to the head of Kenya's election body, Wafula Chebukati.
