U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres highlighted the major issues that endanger humanity's future and the fate of the planet in an ominous speech at the start of the General Assembly's annual top-level meeting. "Our world is in peril — and paralyzed," Guterres said. But he said there is hope.
