Nigerians turn to faith healers amid health challenges
The power of simple prayer to heal illness is not clear, according to scientists, and is also difficult to study. And whatever your faith, when you’re sick, you should seek treatment from a doctor. But in Nigeria, some people are choosing spiritual healers and miracle cures over orthodox medicine and hospitals, and that’s creating some dangerous situations. Timothy Obiezu reports from Abuja
