Nigerian analysts argue that the upcoming March 11 governorship and state assembly elections will be peaceful and that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is equipped to facilitate the polls, despite the outcome of the highly contested February 25 presidential race that resulted in ruling party’s Bola Tinubu being declared president-elect and re-run calls by the opposition who are also demanding that the electoral body’s chairperson step down.
