Nigeria Early Election Results Spurring Anxiety, Anger: Analyst
Nigeria's Independent National Election Commission (INEC) is facing heavy criticism with opposition parties demanding the chair's resignation and the nullification of early election results. Idayat Hassan, senior associate with the Africa Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, tells Africa 54 host Esther Githui Ewart that voter enthusiasm and excitement has turned to anxiety and anger due INEC's mismanagement of logistics, social media and, in some parts, voter intimidation.
