Nachizo Sikombe: Every Zambian citizen deserve a healthcare policy, especially the poor in the remote areas

YALI 2024 Mandela Washington Fellow Nachizo Sikombe thinks that every Zambian citizen deserves a health insurance policy as one of the ways to provide universal health coverage in Zambia. Speaking to VOA’s Brian Itava, Nachizo says her organization is creating awareness on acquisition of a health cover policy, especially in the rural areas through education while lobbying the government to subsidize the cost of healthcare policies.
