Maria Gakdeng, a 19-year-old South Sudanese-American basketball player, currently leads the Boston College Eagles in rebounds and previously broke several records as a freshman. The daughter of South Sudanese immigrants, Maria says she owes her drive and success to her parents’ culture. VOA's Nabeel Biajo reports.
