One of the prosecutors in the case involving former Chief Justice of Liberia Gloria Musu Scott has been reacting to the Supreme Court’s nullification of her life sentence for the death of her foster daughter. The court overturned the sentence on Wednesday because of what it called “insufficient evidence” to link Justice Scott and her relatives to the crime. Justice Musu Scott told VOA she will use her experience in jail to fight for prison and judicial reforms, including a code of conduct for police and prosecutors. Counsellor Bobby Livingstone was one of the prosecutors in Justice Musu Scott’s trial. He tells VOA’s James Butty, the Supreme Court’s reversal of Justice Scott’s sentence means that the use of circumstantial evidence can no longer be used in Liberian law
