Liberia's New House Speaker Vows To Work with Boakai Government
Liberia’s new speaker of the House of Representatives says he will work with President-elect Joseph Boakai’s government to do the people’s business. Jonathan Fonati Koffa, of outgoing President George Weah’s Coalition for Democratic Change party, says Liberians expect their leaders to work together following the close October presidential election. Speaker Koffa tells VOA's James Butty he hopes he and President Boakai can bring citizens better health care and education by working together.
